Take care of yourself

If you don't take care of your body, where are you going to live?

It's important to take care of yourself, eat right, have some exercise and try to get enough sleep. All this is extremely important to keep us healthy and happy. Sometimes with the busy life and tough schedule you can forget to take care of yourself. This is one of the worst things you can do. You have to set your priorities. Think about it, for whom and why are you working for. Probably you are working for yourself or your family. But who will benefit your work, if you can't enjoy it? Will your family enjoy the money, even if it means that they cannot have you around? I guess not. There is no excuse to forget yourself, there is no excuse to prioritize work over yourself.

So here are some key features to remind you that you are important. You have to think about yourself because if you don't, who will?

Remember to eat when you are hungry. Try to eat good and nutritious food that you will benefit from. Try to eat a variety of different kind of food, such as vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Make your plate a little bit more colorful and try to eat at least 5 different colors of food every day. Now and then try out something new, something you have never eaten before. In this way you add something new into your diet and experiment new things. Sometimes you can be surprised and you will actually enjoy that new taste. Why not to give it a go?

Accept the things how they are and try not to change and fight against something you can't control. This is really bad for you and will cause you a lot of stress and unhappiness. This kind of long term stress will weaken your immune system. That's why the best thing is to reduce all the stress factors in your life that are not necessary. Try to focus on positive and good things in your life and try to do things to forget about the stress now and then.

Have some nice exercise. Find the way you want to do your exercise and move a bit every single day. Try yoga, bicycling to the work (if possible), go dancing (or dance a bit at home), go for a walk or to swimming. All these things will move your body in different ways, put the heart beat up, reduce stress and make you feel good.

Take a massage. Massage is a good way to make you relax. It takes the tension and the stress away and fills your body with good feeling. If you can't afford to go for a professional, ask your partner to massage you. It's also a good way of building the bondage between you.

Love your partner and show your love to each other, every day. Hug, kiss and be close to each other. Partners are there for each other and share your ups and downs. They try to make you feel good and forget about the stress and bad feelings. Being in a healthy relationship is the most life healing thing there is.

Be grateful about the things you have in your life. Things could be totally different and you should be happy and appreciate how the things are. Don't take your partner for granted. Show him now happy you are that he is a part of your life.
